A wise man told me once that the secret to missions work is your personal relationship with Jesus. It is the secret to protection, provision, effectiveness, and opportunity. Your walk with the Lord is what led you into this and it is was sustains you throughout it.
How beautiful! What a friend I have in Jesus!
The campus here in Orlando fosters this. I spend a hefty chunk of my 'free time' cocooned in one of the many hammocks talking to the Father. It tends to be easy to fall into empty routine or head knowledge, and sitting at Jesus feet refreshes my soul. It reminds me of His extravagant love, intimate nature, and overwhelming kindness.
DTS classes are full of so much rich teaching & quiet times have allowed me to let them penetrate my heart.
